Santa Fe

As many of you know, I turned the BIG 30 last week! To celebrate, we took a quick weekend trip to Santa Fe. We had a beautiful weather and a nice relaxing weekend!

Our hotel was wonderful! A nice big room, super comfy bed and awesome wood-burning fireplace!

LOVE the smell of pinon wood burning!

The beautiful cathedral right off the plaza

The Loretto Chapel, home of the mysterious staircase

The San Miguel Mission, said to be the oldest church in the United States

Our hotel was right by Canyon Road, home of many of the art galleries in SF

I made friends with this little guy in one of the galleries–his name was Casper.

This outdoor art was AMAZING!  I would love to have some of it in my yard.

We also ate lots of good food (had a fancy birthday dinner on Saturday  night, Mexican food on Saturday, and yummy French pastries several times). Unfortunately, Sandy, I didn’t get any pictures, and I also didn’t make it to the places you suggested. Guess I will have to go back!
